Aiden, You Have Been Caught
The mornings are absolutely crazy for me… beds made, 3 kids dressed, get myself ready for the day, throw a load of laundry in, breakfast for us all…all that and school starts at 9am. Not long after this regular madness, I happen upon my 1 year old. He has gone into the pantry, taken his favorite treat, found a school pencil box, brought both the box and the cereal bar to the table, open the box, takes the scissors out and that’s when I see him and HE”S BEEN CAUGHT RED HANDED. LOL

OH MAN! I've been caught!

Hey, What cha doing, Aiden?
That’s right! This little guy is sooo smart. He knows his little fingers are not strong enough to open the package so he went in search for scissors to open it. ohh My Little Monkey!! What are you going to getting into next! lol

Zander has another awesome opportunity with his Cub Scout den to go to City Hall on one of his Go See Its. He met the Mayor, a detective, Assistant City Manager and the Chief of Police just to name a few of the highlights. He also was introduced to the website and accounting departments and one of the town councilmen. We were all given such a warm welcome. Big thanks go out to the City of Maricopa for sharing their valuable time with Tigers from our Cub Scout Pack! We appreciate it!
Dancing Lexi
Recently, Lexi has become less enthused about dance. She talks about it during the week excitedly. She talks about how she loves it and wants to go. However, when the time comes she doesn’t want to go. She gets there and cries. After about 20mins into a 40 min class, she usually warms up and then enjoys it. The last few not even that.. but as soon as we leave again its all about how much she loves dance. Even as soon as we get to karate and showing off her stamp card and dance moves. I’m getting nervous about her declining dance excitement as we are nearing recital time. If she won’t dance in the studio, I do not see how she will on stage in front of every one. I guess I’ll be discussing the options with her instructor.
Zander’s 7th Birthday, Part 4 (and final)
After Zander graduated to his new camo belt, we went to McDonald’s to celebrate. Also, Grammie and Papa Sackrider came down to celebrate his birthday. It was a fun time together and they gave him a telescope for his birthday.. He was super excited. He doesn’t know it yet but will come in handy as we will be getting ready to study space in science in a few weeks.
- Thank you Grammie and Papa
- Zander reads it aloud for us!
- A telescope.. “way cool”
- There’s a special bond right here. =D
- I want it!
- Yummy, Daddy!
Happy Birthday, Zander, from Grammie and Papa!!
Zander Becomes Decided Camo Belt
Zander is now a Decided Camo Belt.. He went to the advance classes when he became recommended camo belt. Soon we’ll have to get his sparring equipment. I can’t believe that its been a year he has been taking karate. He has worked so hard. He is had made huge improvements not just in coordination but in social skills and self esteem.

We were off to pick up the rest of the family and then to McDonald’s by request to celebrate! Playground, video games, dinner, desert, presents and family… it was nice! Zander was so excited to have what he called, “MY birthday cake”. After we sang and he blew out the candles, he decided to try the candle. It was NOT editable. He took out a good chunk but quickly spit out finding out, “It does not taste good.” He opened presents where he got a Cars electric race track and a game for his the Wii. We had a great family night.
Zander’s 7th Birthday Part 2
- Right before Karate is Lexi’s dance class. It was bring a friend day. Lexi brought her cousin.

- The girls really enjoyed watching Zander
While Dale took Zander to see a movie for some guy time.. I was wrapping presents and getting the cake. I also had to get Lexi ready for dance class.
Next is time for Zander’s karate class. When its your birthday, the person is allowed to wear a special birthday black belt that says, “It’s my birthday!” Zander had talked about wearing this belt for over a week, getting very excited that he was going to be able to wear the special belt. When we showed up Miss Molly was busy but Zander made it well known that he would be waiting for it. lol The belt is extra long and they make it a game out of how many times does it wrap around you. Zander was very proud of his special belt.
They did their normal form, board breaks, self defense but they also played a hula hoop game. The child had to go thru it as it rolled.. Zander went thru every one. He one and was sooo excited. Dale and I were so proud and cheered like crazy.. So did Lexi and Faith!!
